Built in 1859, this simple but attractive two-storey structure, with verandas at the front and back, is the oldest surviving police building in Hong Kong. It was decommissioned in 1974 and has had several different users since.

Directions:
Bus 6 or 260 from Exchange Square bus terminus, Central, Hong Kong Island, or bus 973 from Concordia Plaza bus terminus, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon. Get off at Stanley bus terminus, then walk along Stanley Village Road for about a minute.

舊赤柱警署建於1859年，是本港現存最古老的警署建築。此警署早期為港島最南端的前哨站，戰略地位重要，因此常供警隊及英軍聯合使用。二次大戰期間，日軍更曾徵用為分區總部，並加建殮房。戰後恢復用作警署，直至1974年。這座兩層高的平房，前後都建有陽台，設計簡潔美觀；近年曾將內部大肆裝修闢作餐廳，現則為一所超級市場。

從中環交易廣場巴士總站乘6線或260線巴士，或從尖沙咀東部康宏廣場巴士總站乘973線巴士至赤柱巴士總站，再沿赤柱村道步行約1分鐘。
