Special Exhibition: Mineral Treasures of China
The Stephen Hui Geological Museum presents its first special temporary exhibition titled “Mineral Treasures of China” in collaboration with Dr. Guanghua Liu. This exhibition presents over 60 of the finest mineral specimens found in China during the last 30 years and are classic representatives from typical mines/mining areas from 12 different provinces in China.
Date: April 27 to August 30, 2013 *Extended until November 30, 2013
Time: Mon-Fri 1pm to 6pm
Venue: Stephen Hui Geological Museum 1/F, James Lee Science Building, The University of Hong Kong
Additional Sat/Sun opening hours from 10am to 6pm on:
May 18 and 19 - International Museum Day (IMD)
June 15 and 16
July 20 and 21
August 17 and 18
September 21 and 22
October 19 and 20
Closed during other weekends and public holidays

The exhibition is OPEN TO PUBLIC. FREE ADMISSION.
專題展覽<中國礦物珍寶>
許士芬地質博物館與劉光華博士合作首次舉辦專題展覽<中國礦物珍寶>,展出逾60件礦物珍品,來自中國內地12個不同省份,標誌著中國過去30年珍貴的礦物發現。
日期:2013年4月27至8月30日 *延長展期至2013年11月30日
時間:逢星期一至五 下午1時至6時
地點:香港大學厲樹雄科學館 許士芬地質博物館一樓
下列星期六、日 上午10時至下午6時 特別開放(其餘的星期六、日及公眾假期休息):

5月18 - 19日(國際博物館日)

7月20 - 21日
8月17 - 18日
9月21 - 22日
10月19 - 20日
