香港旅遊景點介紹---尖沙咀前九廣鐵路鐘樓(Clock Tower)

The clock tower was completed and came into operation in 1921 as part of the Kowloon-Canton Railway (KCR) Terminus. It survived the wrecker's ball when the terminus was moved to Hung Hom in 1975, and now the clock tower stands as a landmark on the Kowloon peninsula harbour-front.

九廣鐵路英段於一九一○年十月一日通車。尖沙咀火車站興建工程於一九一三年展開。一九一五年鐘樓建成。火車總站於一九七八年拆卸，只留下鐘樓，成為本港的標記。鐘樓高四十四米，樓頂裝有七米高的避雷針。
