Opened in early 1996, the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences charts the historical development of medical sciences in Hong Kong and is one of the first museums in the world to compare traditional Chinese and Western approaches to medicine. The museum is housed in the former Old Pathological Institute, a declared historical monument.

香港醫學博物館於1996年初開幕，介紹香港的醫學發展史，是世界上率先以中西方病理作比較的博物館之一。香港醫學博物館的館址前身是「香港病理專科學院」，後改為博物館用途，現已被列為法定古蹟。
