The police station was decommissioned and closed in December 2004 pending a decision on its future use. The barrack block was built in 1864, with the other blocks being added between 1910 and 1925. This four-storey complex is in the classical style, with the whole of the front and the main architectural features of the back constructed of cement plaster, while the extension facing Hollywood Road is noted for its brick construction and imposing columns in the entrance hall. Directions:
Central MTR Exit D1, walk up Pedder Street and then up Wyndham Street, following it to the right as it becomes Hollywood Road. The police station is on the left just past Arbuthnot Road.作者: twintwin 時間: 2010-1-9 19:46
